THURSDAY NIGHT "BEER-CAN" SAILING

Thursday nights at SSYC have grown to include a variety of social, sailing and other on-water events. Come down and enjoy an early start to the weekend during the summer.

“Beer-Can” fun races.

Nothing at stake and only bragging rights involved. These races allow participants to race in a more relaxed / casual experience. Other than safety, there is no seriousness allowed.

Kayaking

Members of the kayak “fleet” are on the water as a group – kayak yakking.

Social

Burger Night or Bring Your Own Dinner – Scheduled as determined by the Social Chair. And on the “series side...”

Cruising Class Championship Series

Members of the Cruising Class fleet participate for their fleet’s handicapped championship series on Thursday evenings when high tide conditions support boats that need additional draft.
