Junior Sailing

SSYC Features a Renowned Jr Sailing Program

SSYC has a rich tradition in junior sailing and we are happy to welcome your child to our program. Our summer program is for children ages 8-16. No experience is necessary, but comfort in the water and swimming proficiency are required.

We offer instruction and coaching at all levels, from beginners to recreational sailors to advanced racers. Our flexible program spans options from 1-week Mini Camps to a full summer program.

Many SSYC Junior Sailors have competed across the United States, Canada and Europe. After High School many have gone on to distinguished collegiate sailing careers. The Club is proud to support both High School and College Sailing Programs. Trinity Hall & Monmouth University call SSYC home and we host Spring & Fall Regattas for both.
